Shark Family,

Ponte Vedra High School is excited to announce that Jeff DiSandro will be our New Head Football Coach. Coach DiSandro comes to us with a wealth of football knowledge. Since 2016, he has served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach for Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Before that, Coach DiSandro collected eleven years of college coaching experience at a variety of different levels. In his fourteen-year coaching career, DiSandro has served as an Offensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach and he has coached every position on the offense side of the football. Coach DiSandro was a four-year starter at NAIA Olivet Nazarene University, where he helped his alma mater make two football post season playoff appearances. He played high school football as a two-way starter on the offensive and defensive lines at Schaumburg HS (Chicago, IL).

During the interview process Coach DiSandro stressed the importance of leadership and character development. To quote Coach Disandro “My goal is to help build men who are built for others.”

I am extremely excited to watch Coach DiSandro and his staff work with our student-athletes. Coach has already met with our coaching staff about spring practice and summer plans. He is also working towards bringing in additional coaches who can help elevate our football program.

Players will have the chance to meet Coach DiSandro on Thursday April 25th at 8:00 am in the auditorium.

We would like to invite our football community, student-athletes, and parents to meet Coach DiSandro next Monday April 29th at 7:30 pm in the Ponte Vedra High School auditorium.

Go Sharks!!
