Why do some players play six quarters a week?
Per FHSAA rules, a player may play six quarters during a week. Permission is granted to play more if a game needs to be rescheduled because of weather. Players are chosen to play six quarters at the discretion of the head coach. If a parent does not wish their child to play six quarters in a week, please email Coach Price.
Each week two rising stars will be named from the scout teams – one from offensive and one from defense. The scout team runs the opponents plays for our Varsity team. It’s a VERY important job that most people never notice.
Our first shout out goes to COOPER FROEHLICH – Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week!!!
Congratulations Cooper!! We are so proud of you. Keep up the great work!! Proud to have you every week on the sidelines of the Varsity games cheering them on and helping out.
If you missed it from Coach Price, please remember to thank all the volunteers….especially our amazing volunteer coordinator, Rachel Clarke. She puts her heart and soul into this and it shows. Thank you, Rachel or everything you do!!! You’re AMAZING!!!
WE THANK YOU
As we enter our 5th week of football, I would like to send thank you shout outs to a few people who regularly volunteer in different capacities.
First off, thank you to Jim Guarnera and Stacey Cote who volunteer for JV even though their sons play varsity. They both give up their Thursday nights to announce and help out in the concession stand.
Thank you to 3 generations of the Glaser family who work the grill and concession stand. Shane Glasers, grandparents, parents and little brother all help out.
Jennifer and Maggie Matthesen who work both JV and Varsity concession stand.
Thank you to Annemieke Holder who works with Jeannie for JV team meals.
The Monti family and Sara Babin who step in every week in different spots.
Michael Stephens who always volunteers for chain gang.
Shannon Henne and Carla Field who have postgame snacks covered.
Leslie Cowart who brings snacks even though her son is injured.

It’s not just monetary donations, we also need your time, $5 for a case of water, oranges, cookies, a concession stand slot, paint the field, team meals.
